I want more info, who should I contact?

Contact Head of HR Eyas Taha[email protected]

Who can apply for the program?

Anyone with a Refugee/Immigrant background who is currently living in Finland permanently and struggling with integration and finding a job.

Do I need to know how to do computer programming (i.e. code) to apply?

No. All that is required to join Integrify’s program is a good command of the English language and a strong motivation to learn and work. If you are interested in technology, start-ups, and/or mobile applications it is a plus, but not a requirement.

What do I need to apply?

A computer (not necessarily your own!) and an e-mail address. We’ll take care of the rest.

What’s in it for me?

You get a free, top class education in programming by some of the best developers in Finland.

After finishing the program, we give you access to our pool of esteemed partner start-ups/companies and a wide range of job opportunities.

Join now to unleash your potential!

I’m not a recent immigrant. Am in a poorer standing in the application process?

All applicants are treated equally. You are not treated differently.

When does the program start and how long does it last?

The next programming cohort will start on 4.12.2017 right after Slush.

The program is a full-time commitment organized Monday-Friday from 09–17.
The first six months consist of classroom teaching by extraordinary teachers following with a six-month internship at one of our partner companies.

How much does this cost?

Nothing; the program is free of charge for all accepted participants.

What happens after the program?

We will help you with getting a job. Since our program is designed to foster your skills and records progress Integrify is able to match your particular skill-set with our partner pool, such as Nord Software, and all kinds of job opportunities. We cannot guarantee a position, but the companies involved are both actively looking for developers as well as willing to go the extra mile.

How are the participants chosen?

We do an overall assessment of the qualifications of the participants and their ability to join the program.

Who ran the pilot program?

Two main people - Daniel Rahman (Integrify CEO) was in charge of the overall program and development lessons are given by Senior Developer Pekka Raittila from Nord Software. The Integrify programming school is based upon the Nord Software trainee program.

What kind of coding are you teaching?

We are focusing on modern open-source front-end technologies, meaning but not limited to:

How do I become a partner?

To know more about becoming a partner please be in contact with Daniel Rahman (phone +358 50 5650448 or just write an email to [email protected]).

Who are you?

Integrify is a company enabling integration of immigrants by means of technology. The company was established to respond to the growing Pan-European need of integrating refugees and empowering them to start living a normal life in their new home countries. Moreover, with an aging European population and a growing gap between supply and demand in programming and information technology jobs, we see the influx of refugees as an opportunity for Europe to solve two three big problems at once.

In total, Integrify is currently a five-person startup itself.

How can I be involved?

Are you a developer/designer/tech professional who wants to help out? We are taking in volunteers to help realize our mutual goal. If you want to offer a helping hand write an email to [email protected] and explain how you would want to participate.
